From Instagram, it seems that Akira Ioane is training in the gym with some of the Crusaders and Moana Pacifica players in Christchurch.

How much fun would it be if he went there? Several posters heads would likely explode, then they’d have to defend him to the death.

They’d have a scarily good loose trio:

    Akira, Blackadder, Grace.

He should've moved there a few years ago. Would be much further along as a player IMO.

The chat on here is that the Crusaders weren't interested in him.

Some people are stuck in the past. The Blues develop loosies better than any other side right now.

Coventry has been great for the franchise

Giving up hair colour for a Goodhue-esque mullet? Can't see it.

@tim Its a shame they won't be the Jersey front sponsor. We could've been rid of that ugly green box.

    Pretty sad.

One of my earliest memories of Moa was seeing him play for De La Salle against Kelston in the Auckland 1A Final where he scored 4 tries. Because of his size, a lot of people thought it was the number 8 that was scoring. It was probably the most dominate performance I've seen by a player in a 1A Final. De La Salle won pretty convincingly and secured their first ever Auckland title.

That team also had Toeava at 10 and I'm pretty sure Sherwin Stowers on the wing.

Halfback for one of the most famous victories ever for Tonga up against France in 2011.

    So very sad.

@frank Newspaper said he died suddenly after a "medical event" this morning. Sounds like a heart attack?
