@act-crusader The combo of Head, Green and Carey makes me nervous. Would much rather have Khawaja in there.
What’s the story there ? There’s a forgotten name but someone still good enough you’d think

Kerry O'Keefe
53 wickets at 38.07, Glenn Turner never stood a chance!
They obviously couldn't find any tomatoes in this game, but should've look harder. KOK didn't even get a bowl and Turner made two hundreds.
Skull might be a bit too old school to realise there are ways for people to check how accurate his yarns are bless him.
lol, he may not have even dismissed him at all in test cricket
Skull got him in the test prior to the one Turner got his double. That wicket was after the Oz quicks were getting treatment from Turner.
Cue the next test and Turner is having his way and the Oz captain wouldn’t even bring Skull on to test Turner. That was Skull’s point and in the context of the analytics discussion. He was actually having a go at the Aussie captain…
thanks for additonal context, I certainly didnt know all the history, quite funny given the outrage yesterday from some,

good lines but 10-12km too slow. And that's a lot.

Robinson to Harris, OUT
Robinson makes the breakthrough, Harris gobbled up in the cordon! Excellent length again, starting on the stumps and then seaming just a fraction - enough to draw a nibble from Harris, thick outside edge and Malan snares a good low catch at third slipMarcus Harris c Malan b Robinson 3 (17b 0x4 0x6) SR: 17.64

Someone mentioned this Aussie team is hard to hate now, but while Smith and Labuschagne are in the team I have no problems hating them. Labuschagne has only been in a few minutes and he is annoying the crap out of me already. He is very pucnhable.

@kiwimurph Wood's on and consistently pushing it through at 150 kph
Around the wicket to Warner. What a shock.

Channel 7 just showed vision: every ball Stokes bowled in that first over was a noball. Only the wicket one was called back.
I'd be a little pissed off, but then how fucking hard is it to train like you play?
Wow. Why?
They check every ball now. Even have the little siren.
Is this because a broadcaster /covid/ some people and kit not actually working from Brisbane?

Third ump should be doing it. Paul Wilson is clearly not paying attention as some of those were massive.

a quick comparison, if you will indulge me
Test match opening bat has been a problem child for NZ as long as any of us can remember, we have had a fair number of shit ones
Marcus Harris currently averages 23.77
That is good enough to land him at #25 in the list of NZ openers with at least 10 tests.
The only names below him are How, Franklin, and Pocock.
There are some very ordinary names ahead of him
This is not a vintage Australian batting lineup.

I thought you’d forgotten Blair Hartland but he only played nine tests.
Pretty sure he scored more runs off his helmet than off his bat back in the day.
