@nzzp There was a reason for Wags not playing!

    I knew it Dan...

No there wasn't. Not if Somerville was the supposed rationale.

Wags would've been bound to get one and mess it up! 🙂

Young goes and a seamer gets a wicket.

Excellent... The Indian seamers do in less than 4 overs what NZ couldn't in @ 40

    Make that 2..

I get a sense that there is more urgency from our batsman in this test. I am for that.

However not sure our openers should be hooking in the 4th over of the innings.

Looks like being the Sir Ajaz Patel and the Ten Muppets Show.

Amazing review. He didn't hesitate for a moment. I figured he must have hit it, but no - he just knew where the stumps end.

Judging by his reaction after the review I'm sure he totally did.

    Taylor... ouch

Taylor looks all at sea. Maybe his eyes are playing up again - maybe he's just getting old.

Yes but that kind of thinking normally takes a few moments consideration and consultation with the non-striker.

Mitchell reviewed almost immediately. That's normally a sign that a batsman just knows they aren't out.

Nicholls also looks all at sea. Let's hope he can hang in there and get into nick.

long long way behind right now.

Ajaz Patel - probably the first to have 10 wickets and watch his team self destruct

Now we need to bat well.

The path to victory is clear. Bat for 2.5 days and declare 200-250 ahead. Then bowl India out in 4.5 sessions.

Fuck me. We’ll be doing incredibly well to avoid the follow on at this rate
