Did Rennie ever say he hadn't played tighthead? He just said he wasn't good enough as a tighthead didn't he? I'm assuming the Highlanders were following the same storyline when they pulled the same trick on their home ground but weren't forced to drop a player out of the team. ;)

At any rate, they obviously felt he wasn't up to it, which is why they have been working to make him better

Perhaps they don't rate the Rebels scrum/reserve props as highly.

Has Fisi'ihoi even played this season? My impression of him was that he was a professional bench warmer, so they might not even plan on giving him any minutes.
