Cummins is the name being bandied about. He's a guaranteed selection, beloved across the nation, and photogenic to boot.
Fast bowling captains aren't that common, though. I'm really not sure which way they'll go.

Never felt Steve was a particular good captain, though. I'm not talking tactically, I don't really remember anything good or bad on that front. I'm talking body language, control, calming hand etc.
Not enough 'there' to go back to officially, also I don't see enough there to be a behind the scenes puppet master.
No doubt, if Cummins captain, he would get advice by senior players, and players fielding behind the wicket. Which would be Smith.

To quote Jeff Thomson I think the Aussies could turn up pissed and still win this. A handful of absolutely class players ( plus a few passengers ) at home vs a pretty shite England team ? Should be easy.

I was giggling like a schoolgirl from the point where he blew through Cook in the second Test (Wicket #10) - it was two-thirds up off stump and just pure fire.
