Pretty fair to say talk of a KC dynasty was very premature
surprise fo the season there!
they'll be back, I have no doubt. But not this year - but Mahomes and Reid are too good to stay down forever.
Turnovers are just killing them this season
defense is rubbish, o-line not providing the protection, no run game, and that's leading to Mahomes trying more and more, but not pulling it off. Also defenses are not allowing them those big plays.

49ers are a mess right now.
For all Kyle Shanahan's offensive genius, his teams are not switched on, they are Injury-prone and ill-disciplined.
49ers must be getting very close to the point to pulling the pin on Jimmy G and putting in Trey Lance. There's really bugger all difference between them right now performance wise so you might as well let Trey learn by playing - he badly needs game reps. Of course Trey Lance is injured right now as is half the team seemingly every week......

Must be a problem with their conditioning coaches

If you want a reason the game would be safer without all the hard plastic see the last tackle in the TNF game
Kick off return, the defending player has run flat out head first in to the returning player. It's really really nasty.
Its not high, he hits him in the thighs. But the returners knee may be destroyed, and i think the tackler knocked himself out. No pads there is no way the guy tackles like that.
It's really gross
-
the game itself is a ripper
first half was a great display of defense from both sides
now the offences have taken over and are shooting it out
-
1st and goal at the 1 and the Packers get zip
Cardinals need to go the absolute length of the field to win
-
and then the Cards wideout sort of gives up the pay, and gives up an endzone interception so the Packers win
Seriously, he turns around the Cardinals win. Crazy end.
-
@mariner4life tremendous game, really enjoyed it.
But htat kick return is just nuts. Sickening to see, and when both players go down from a routine contact, you have to ask if it's the right thing in the game.
Still, so many good games this year. So many good teams. It's been great for a semi-neutral fan

Yeah would love to know what the play call was. Green looked liked we was focused on blocking the defender so perhaps was expecting a run or QB sneak or draw. The RB didn't seem to be expecting a handoff though so my guess is that Green mixed up the call and was expecting something else.

Here's a fun fact: 5 teams won games this week with qbs that are current or former jets. For those keeping score at home that's Broncos (Bridgewater), Seahawks (Geno), Panthers (Darnold), Saints (Siemien) and Jets (White).
Not really anything significant about that other than a rather neat curiousity.

I see that the Cowboys come back to win without Prescott.
The Vikings. A franchise that are masters at the close loss.
Really impressive win by the Patriots over the Chargers in LA.
With the extended playoffs now (3 wildcard teams) the playoff race is going to be fun this season. The last wildcard spot in the NFC looks wide open right now whilst all 3 wildcard spots the AFC look open.
-
I wanted the Cowboys to win after the last Vikings drive was just a bunch of bullshit penalties

Except that playoff game vs the Saints....

And the Bucs lost.
Bucs game was fun, if you like rooting fro underdogs. Bucs D gave away so many penalties it wsn't funny, right when the toothless Saints needed them. It was crazy.
Bad injury to Jameis Winston knee, too, wasn't good to see at all.
On another night, Brady wins by 20 ... but that's sport
-
Winston out for the season, Henry looking likely to be out for the season. Titans season is basically over at this point, Saints will be interesting to watch, Payton reckons they have their QB already but I don't think Hill or Siemien is good enough to lead a serious play off team.

Rams really targetting the Super Bowl to played in their new stadium.
Can you imagine coming up against him AND Donald. Aaron is just insanely good.
in side notes, JJ Watt out for season; may be a dick, but was amazing for a long time on a shitty Texans team, and I kinda like the guy
-
This rams team is looking pretty complete right now, doesn't feel like a bad decision for them. Especially since Miller probably signs a decent deal somewhere else next season and they'll get a compensatory pick back.
Rams first pick in the draft will be in the 5th round... If they don't trade that away too.
