Same here. Ardie for his play, not captaincy

@canefan yeah, to be fair it’s not his fault Cane, Smith, Whitelock and Coles are in NZ.
Agreed

No, but he can learn from last week. Might as well have selected a mute.

Just one 'take the 3' would've been enough

I'll tell you who isn't getting votes.

@canes4life no he didn't. He played his line.

@kirwan if we are on the subject of learnings then Akira obviously didn’t learn from last week aswell. He went missing again in a game you’d expect him to perform in.
Not true. He made one glaring error with the missed tackle.
Otherwise he fixed his issue last week with his handling in this game. Tackles his heart out, did great work in the maul, took line outs (leading to a try)
And FFS he was moving bodies at the ruck. He did his job.
-
@kirwan yeah maybe take your blue tinted glasses off. He was a turn-style on defence tonight. I remember three times he just put his arm out and let the Boks run right through him. Not the performance you’d expect from a guy that’s meant to be our most physical loose forward.
-
Easiest poll for weeks: JB, Brad Weber and Ardie. Sevu Reece deserves a mention.

@machpants that’s some performance from Ardie.
-
Personally I thought both Ioanes were rocks and diamonds today, both with errors and key plays, surprised by all the hate, if anything reiko probably should have been copping more grief than his brother.. in saying that I would still want them both on the park next time ..they are game breakers

LOL, this is pure fantasy. Tell us about how great some Wellington highschool kids are.
-
Akira was a step up from last week in handling, but didn't think he was that good today. Hopefully the last 2 games are just a bit of dip and don't show he has problems against bigger, more physical teams, because when he plays well, he's bloody awesome.
