Nothing goes together like the 49ers and injuries
Starting running back out 8 weeks with a knee injury
Starting cornerback gone for the season with an ACL injury.
Both players are injury prone so if you play with fire you might get burnt
Not good to be weakened in this division

A packed new stadium for the NV Raiders vs the Ravens. I didn't think the population in Vegas could fill the stadium? I suppose there are fans flying in to make a weekend for it? Google says the population is 650000. First ever game with fans allowed as well, so probably easy to fill

@canefan with population in US cities you have to look at the wider metro area.
The metro population of Vegas is 2.3 million.
Oh wow. So plenty then. And as I said, I am sure there will be bay area or LA Raiders fans who would jump at the chance to spend a weekend in Vegas, especially with so few home games per season

@kiwimurph said in NFL Season 2020/21:
@canefan Yep. It's only a 4 hour drive from LA and Phoenix and a short flight from San Francisco.
The Vegas Golden Knights NHL team has been a huge success and there is talk the Oakland Athletics baseball team will move there.
they have a fucking amazing brand spanking new stadium as well

@canefan yeah, that's it. From memory the end opens up so it looks down the strip
this is what Christchurch should be building to be honest
Meanwhile, Mark Davis (worst haircut in sports) the owner is building a new house in Vegas, inspired by the practice facility.....
It looks like a transformer

@canefan fair play, that might be the ugliest monstrosity i have ever seen.
money does not equal taste.
and you are right about the Transformer. Looks like Metroplex
I wonder if the pool drains when Thunderbird 1 takes off?

With all the injuries and that loss the Ravens season is not looking great
they looked to have that early, tough loss
AFC West 4-0 on opening day
-
2-0
Teddy Bridgewater the best QB in the League...
-
also, the poor Lawrence kid. Generational talent sent to a fucking dumpster fire of an organisation. They are going to ruin that kid.

Won't be the first time. He needs to try and avoid being crippled. Count the days until he can GTFO of there

just going through the results, a lot of week one winners become week 2 losers.
One weird thing that sticks out at me after 2 weeks, the Sam Darnold the Panthers signed is clearly not the one who formerly played at the Jets. Huge numbers through 2 weeks.
-
@mariner4life Week 1 always has weird results when you look back at the end of the season. The Jags last year got their only win in Week 1.
Huge result for the Titans - a comeback victory on the road in Seattle. Derrick Henry is a monster.
