Wallabies vs Springboks I

Best I’ve seen Valentini play.
Oz up 19-11 HT.

Maybe just maybe playing the ABs has helped the Wallabies leading into this contest.
But the Boks played the Lions and the Lions included mighty England?

Wallabies are balls deep in this

Nah the Wallabies get nothing out of the transtasman rugby relationship 😉

Some very strange attacking tactics by the Boks.
Pollard is standing so deep it’s not funny. The box kick is still the main game for them.
-
So are the Boks not invincible ?
Hold me. I'm scared.

in an amazing piece of rugby insight I have noticed the Wallabies score more points when their kicks go over. Well done Quade, even if the Australian government doesn't want to give you a passport...

Great half of footy. Boks will come out strong in the 2nd 40, there's going to be a storm to weather for the Wallabies you would think, but as m4l says they are balls deep in this game.
With all the talk about how great the Boks are I really thought they'd blow Aus off the field. They look a bit off the pace at the moment.

Wallabies looking decent. Boks one dimensional as always, Le Roux calling the mark when oppo is 40m away and AUS have a man in the bin just shows how careful and risk-averse the Boks play. Hope Wobs roll them
I think was due to fitness, even he was puffing.

No change from all their games this year. Just a shock to come against a team that attacks, I think. And Oz not making as many mistakes as normal.
There is so much spacec wide, they rush up and in hard midfield. Oz are exploiting that well

Fine comments from SBW at halftime.
Shame about the fashion sense.

Old man 😛

OZ playing with very good pace.
Play down the right end and OZ look good for a score.
Get bogged down at the other end and the maul try is on every time for the Boks.
Quade has played very assured. Noah just seemed on edge the whole time.

The space for Kerevi in the leadup to the try was FdK rushing too hard and missing.
Kerevi had time to slip over, get up, run and pass to Kellaway who must have thought all his Christmases came at once, when Mapimpi decided to stop playing for three seconds.

Probably, yeah. Still, I can't EVER see an AB fullback do that with a man up. You're puffing = opponent puffing, too, probably

Not sure if the boks coming out of Quarantine has had an effect,But they have been very average.
Would never have thought the Boks would be average
