So now we have to look forward to Gary Lineker hosting Match of the Day in his undies. Every silver lining has its cloud

So what next.

Can Leicester hold on to the current squad?

How much of their financial windfall will they spend strengthening their squad for CL?

Taking nothing away from Ranieri who has done a sensational job and should have the job for as long as he wants it, but given this was Pearson's squad really, wonder what would have happened if he hadn't been outed as a racist and bully.

Great result for football, Premiership and every supporter of a club outside the big 5. What value the talk of a breakaway European Championship know?

Must suck to be Spurs (or Arsenal).

so with Leicester paying 5000/1 at the start, wonder what the odds were for a Leicester-Tottenham 1-2 (if that end up that way) woulda been astronomical?

Has Lineker ever apologised to Ranieri after his scathing comments when he was appointed the new Leicester City manager?

The funny thing is that none of us are Leicester City supporters but we are all celebrating their success.

I did a piece two years ago trying to decide which EPL team I should support. I got my shortlist down to Leicester City, Stoke City and Southampton.

I went with the Saints, which looked like a good decision last season . . . (and this season too, kind of!)

Southampton are a good shout. Good side, good manager, play a good brand, and do well even though they are a "selling" club.

Picking Leicester would have been folly. And then this season happened

Sevilla will be a tough nut to crack, they seem to have this comp wired. But we're a shout, especially is Sturridge is fit (and that's a big if).

Two cup finals in a year isn't too bad. Kopp seems to be going well.

He really has them playing the press these days - only managed to see the first half but they totally swamped Villarreal in their own half who continued to try to pass themselves out of trouble but kept on losing possession. Against better sides it might backfire and leave their dodgy defence exposed.

Arsenal got the draw this morning against City so only need a point against Villa on the final day. If Man U win their game in hand they will be above City so have it in their hands.....

.... and then wouldn't it be delightful for Liverpool to win Eurpopa to then steal that final place away from United! Oh how I would chuckle. If we lose to Villa, I willl slap my own smile!

I'm surprised there is no mention of today's game. West Ham beats Man Utd to help Man City's chances of playing in the CL next year. :)

BUT, the big news is that the Hammer's winning goal was scored by Winston Reid, who has the honour of scoring the last ever goal at Upton Park.

Leaves Man U with a chance of 4th but if results go a certain way, they could finish as low as 8th. Given Sunderland could end the relegation battle tomorrow morning, it could be the only excitement of final day.

Meanwhile Burnley and Middlesborough into the Premier League, Burnley doing the bounce again and Middlesborough after lurking around promotion for a few seasons. Brighton v Sheff Wednesday and Hull v Derby in the play-offs, current form suggests it will be a Brighton v Hull final.
