Penalty only, correct decision. Good officiating.
Really? No arms, shoulder to head?
-
The fact he's questioning if it's him going for an HIA is telling.
Don't see how they let him stay on for another phase.

I honestly would be happy with @stargazer doing the video ref job, as I think he understands this shit better than many refs, but I dont see how that isn’t a YC. That was no arms with force. With no mitigation that should be a red, surely?

@gt12 I'd need to see a replay, but think he may have contacted with his forearm?
Ok, then that might explain it - I saw one replay and it looked like a direct shoulder to the head.
I’m on my second highball though.

Halves pairing for Counties leaves a lot to be desired.
-
@antipodean We have to suffer them both at the Hurricanes

@stargazer said in Counties v North Harbour:
@nzzp Very clear mitigation.
A drop isn't mitigation. A sudden drop might be, but not many arms in the tackle.
Honestly, I don't care do much about what the sanction is, just that it's consistent week to week. And it's really really not

A nice try.
You would have to question CM's decision-making when they turn down easy penalty kicks and then take a 50 m penalty.
That's a team losing confidence.
-
Sheesh how many chances did Counties want down their attacking end?
Game over now.
