The Warriors wish they could play the Tigers every week.

Everyone does. I wish they'd rename the club Wests Magpies.

Storm vs Panthers coming up soon.

Sadly, it might not be much of a contest with the Panthers missing Cleary, Yeo, Fisher-Harris, Koroisau and To'o.

With Harry Grant back, the Storm are pretty much at full strength now.

I've pulled sticks on the season. Basically feel that way about all sports except MMA.

The Storm are making it look easy. The Panthers' defense is looking quite fragile.

    Storm win quite comfortably, 37 - 10.

Storm vs Sea Eagles should be a much better match-up next week.

Panthers vs Roosters should be good too. Panthers will likely get a few their stars back for that one.

the comp is so uneven it's not even funny.

Tommy Turbo gave the Sharks a hiding last night. The Sharks are in the 8 (but that's nothing really to celebrate this year) but they were thumped. Again.

Melbourne and Penrith sit way out in front with 15 wins and a points differential of +1,000 (actually that's not even close, the Storm are 120 points in front there as well)
The bunnies and the Eels are only 1 and 2 wins back. But that's a false gap, in actual fact they are light years behind.
The Roosters are somehow still 5th despite missing half a roster. Will be cannon fodder for the top 2
Manly are 6th, and are the only smokey outside of the top 3 for a GF berth based purely on their fullback.

Everyone below this mark are dogshit. The Dragons in 7th are 8-9, Sharks are 7-10. These teams will play finals FFS. 10 of 18 teams have a losing record.

An old school Top 5 finals series would be a far better spectacle than what week 1 of the finals will serve up.

@mariner4life Turbo is in unreal form.

    His stats last night:

    227m
    3 tries
    3 try assists
    3 linebreaks
    4 linebreak assists
    4 offloads
    15 tackle busts
    4/4 on defense

And he didn't even play the whole game. Got subbed off around the 65th minute mark.

And by all accounts right at that point Manly returned to being the Manly from the start of the season. Never has so much rested on the the hamstrings of so few.

Tommy T v the Storm next week should be fun

    Melbourne 30 - Tommy T 8

@bayimports Got him in my team 🙂

I feel bad for people who want him now, because he's so expensive. He was quite cheap early in the season.

Yeah a must have player. I was dumb enough to take the C off Turbo and ended up looping Cody ,,big mistake, top 500 will be gone now.

I did the same, but I put Haas as captain instead.

Kane Evans in the bin for the second time today. Obviously not the same rule as Union. Also been put on report three times I think I heard the commentator say. He is having quite the game.

16 all withn 12 mins to go. Make that 18 16 Warriors.

Pretty gutsy win by the Warriors.

Evans did his best to lose that one for us. He probably didn't deserve to get that 2nd yellow though.

Aitken and Curran looked good in the second row. Both went very well.

AFB and Lodge were big too. AFB was probably our best - ran for 227m.

A couple of weeks ago, a handful of mates and I were having a couple of Friday afternoon beers as you do. One pipes up and says get on the Warriors over the next few weeks, there is money to be made. He said they always win games at the end of the season when they’re no chance of making the 8. We all laughed and thought he needed sending to the mental health unit at Whangarei Hospital.

Turns out he may have been right on this occasion.

    Aitken looks a different player.

Agree on the 2nd yellow. Ironically Evans got slammed right before he got up and threw those couple of lefties on Chambers.

Funny how the winning points for us came on the back of a Sharks penalty. It’s usually us giving away points on penalties.

I have no problem with professional teams getting privileges with Covid. Being able to watch sport is helping to keep me sane(ish).

And there are benefits to the economy where games are hosted. Assuming they're not in lockdown of course
