The Americans should just have kicked for goal. They were right in front. Adding points is important.
Does the PD add to seeding for finals?
That one decided top of pool so no PD required.
Possibly a good one to lose for Aus with the rather odd draw.
Looks like USA v GB and AUS v Fiji

Kenya play too flat. Need a depth runner to execute the size prospect.
The GB scrum uses an interesting tactic - trap it with the shin of the hooker at the back, to give the scrum half time to grab it.
A lot of teams do that.
The tactics have become much more complex in 7s. Even Fiji took us by complete surprise by chip kicking the first time this decade in the final!

A lot of teams do that.
They're the only ones I've noticed - most others just kick it out and throw to the plamaker off the deck.
Trapping it like that is high confidence you won't get shoved off it, which they discovered was not always great against NZ.

That's a great try!
Not so great the sarcastic wave at the chasing Kenyan, dick move

These “off feet “ calls are a bit shit. Most of the sevens refs are whistling turnovers after a split second of clear jackal but Jenner is waiting for them to fall over then ruling the other way.
Newer players will be very confused at the sheer gulf between decisions on identifical situations.

So far we've got the QFs as FIJ v AUS and USA v GB
The ones TBD are
France v Best 3rd Place - probably China with a -1 PDNZL v 2nd best 3rd Place - currently the Not-Russians are at +21 and the Canadians at -12. If the Ferns beat Not-Russia by 34 then Canadia make it.
Or I'm reading that draw completely wrong, and failed maths.

Is there really much of a chance of lightning inside the stadium?
Stadiums are tall with lighting poles etc, chance is actually high, maybe not into the field, but there are other people working around more likely to be in danger. Not necessarily direct strike, but damage associated with one

@nta NZ need to win their game v ROC first
Uh-huh. Of course...
