It is prestigious at school level. The single sex state schools and the private schools. Maadi Cup is a big deal.

That is the base.

At the high performance level. Obviously have a good program, and funding. Success breeds more success and more funding (funding is competitive).

Now that the regatta is over, and I cant jinx it ...

I'm not happy about the white rower singlet. The black rowing singlet is up there' in the iconic sporting uniforms for NZers.
