The OZ commentators are entering cliche heaven.
When have they not?

Dave Rennie - “it’s our year”
The Warriors have entered the chat.

You win the penalty. You eat up time. You tap the ball pass it back and then kick it out. Game over.

Beyond hyperbole. When they say the Wallabies showed patience I gargle on my restraining strap..

Some irony in Pickerall giving an offside penalty after ignoring the offside line for 79mins
TBF he gave a couple against them just before halftime.
He really is a horrible ref.

Wow. A famous victory.
But anyways - well done Cadbury.
And thanks @RugbyAustralia and @FFR - you've forced me into sending a drunken message on offical work channels to pretty much say "yeah, a meeting at 9am NZT? Good luck. If I don't turn up, maybe try again half an hour later, or maybe an hour" -
Inspector Clouseau tiens à remercier nos fans

Wallabies bench certainty had an impact.
Halfback was a better passer. Both kicked like they had one leg.

Will give some confidence to some of those younger players. Look forward to the next game.
Wallabies need to be careful in celebrating a win here. That was mostly poor - but a first Test usually is for our guys.
There will be changes but the first question has to be over Paisami. Put him back at 12, shift To'omua to the bench, and get Ikitau at 13.
While Simple Jack did OK, that last dropgoal attempt showed his passing isn't the best.

Speaking of halfbacks why did French take off theirs. Their starting 9 was good and their bench 9 a noticeable step down.

Villiere the left winger for France is playing very well for a 7s player.
Best player on the park in the first half, did he even touch the ball in the 2nd?
One of those matches where you’d happily say that neither team deserved it - French stopped playing any real attack in the second half, and the Wallabies made a lot of errors.
Probably more worrying for the Wallabies was the very poor decision making. You can live with dropped ball or bad pass, but not using an overlap or trying to make the hero play, or kicking when there are options either side, or kicking away possession when there is only a couple of minutes left and you are down.
