Wallabies scrumhalf Nic White is out of next month’s Test series against France after suffering a knee injury at training, Queensland’s Tate McDermott is now set for his first Test start after two matches off the bench, while Brumbies No.9 Ryan Lonergan is likely to make his debut.
Waratahs scrumhalf Jake Gordon is in camp on the Gold Coast with the Wallabies but is also recovering from a MCL injury and remains an outside chance of being available. White suffered a medial cruciate ligament injury this week and has returned home to Canberra. With the injury not requiring surgery, he remains in the frame for the Bledisloe Cup with the first match on August 7 in Auckland.

@nevorian Have known this for years. It was one of the reasons why he couldn't join the Aussie 7s squad in 2016.
Even though it is Quade still poor form by Home Affairs to refuse him citizenship after 70 tests for ‘his’ country

You'd think that a good immigration lawyer would have plenty of case precedents stashed away from the last time Oz held the Olympics and citizenship was handed out like a bag of lollies to sportspeople wanting to represent 'Straya.

Problem is he doesn't live in Australia full time. No country will give you citizenship unless you spend the majority of your time there, pretty standard (not Malta, Vanuatu, etc, obviously). If he applied when he was there in the wallabies, living in Oz for many years in a row, he would've got it
