Pant is not a great keeper.
He’s an improving keeper in my view. Nothing he could do about that last 4 byes.
Guess I'm just comparing him to Watling who was getting to those every time. Pant is still young though and no doubt picked for his batting primarily.
Watling is awesome.
That ball was going towards first slip and then it jagged back late and sharp to go wide of leg stump.

I like that from Nicholls. We can't go completely into our shell, if we put the bad balls away the pressure starts mounting on India.

If you were suffering the PTSD that must go with having been a top order batsman for England in the 1990s I imagine you go through life with that paranoia of an impending middle order collapse no matter what you are doing... mowing the lawn, filling the car up, out for dinner...

I wonder if Kane, with his bad elbow, is just going to anchor the innings to try and avoid a collapse, while others try to score around him. Even in these conditions this is uncharacteristically defensive from him.
