This in part is why I didn't think they were up for chasing at Lords basically everyone in that top order is under serious pressure aside from Burns and Root (who has the weight of the side on him).

A couple of early wickets and they have just carved through them.

Zaltsman was saying on TMS that England already have the second most ducks in the Top 6 in a calendar year in history and it's not even June.

Root out. Caught behind off Patel. 11 from 61 balls. 76 for 7. Still 9 runs behind.

Looks like this might be over and dusted inside 3 days.

If they don't bowl them out before close of play I can't see the extra half hour being useful. If the lead is 30+ hard to chase that down in 20 minutes.

Broad Bowled by Boult. 121 for 9. It smells like victory.

Broad wants this quicker than we do, good signs if he takes the new ball.

What did we do to Holding?

Think NZ have bowled Average, England just poor. Said it about 10 times. After going on and on yday about dropped catches, seems he cannot give us credit.

Why the fucks he commentating anyway?

Disappointing for Taylor there as he looked primed, but another good days test cricket from NZ. Good signs from Henry and Patel and a perfect workload for Boult to dust the cobwebs off.

Yeah I don't understand why they canned Gower and Botham but kept Holding.

just watching through the replay right now. That is a seriously good catch from Latham in the slips to open the wicket takinng. Maybe robbed Rosco, but damn good hands and reaction, diving forward and across.

Henry, Wags and Ajaz have been busy while we were sleeping. Wow

This is how conditioned I still am to Black Caps failure

I open cricinfo, see a team get absolutely rolled, and instantly think it's us.
