2021 School rugby

For preseason games, traditionals and sports exchanges, it depends on the schools. Some do, some don't.
For regular competition games, if they're played in one union only, the union sometimes publishes team lists in the weekly draw. No such luck with competions that are played between schools from different unions though, like CNI and Super 8. There it depends on the school only.
Are you after a team sheet for a particular game/ school?

@taniwharugby I'm not on Facebook but this is a good source of team lists if published.
Schools will usually have printed copies of the teams at the games, at least the games I have been to.

@stargazer just seen a post about a boy that was in my sons team who has been called into AGS 1st 15, so more wanting to follow the result (and see if another boy I know is there)

What position does he play?
I watched most of the 2nd XV game and all of the 1st XV game at AGS on Wed. The funny thing about the AGS 2nd XV is that they didn't have numbers on their jerseys and you wouldn't be able to tell who played in which position, as their locks weren't any taller than their loose forwards or midfield backs.

Otago Premier Schools (Premiership)
- Southland Boys 25 - 19 Otago Boys (round 2 game of Wed 19 May 2021 that was postponed)
That was apparently a decade long wait for the SBHS win.

@bovidae I think he plays 10 now, but played mostly 9 when he was in TR Jnrs team, is a very strong defender though.
Maybe the AGS website has their 1st XV team list. The AGS players that stood out for me were the no.8 and centre (he scored the intercept try).
The FB page I listed has some video clips of the match, as he was at the game too.

they beat us in Dunners in 2016

SBHS made the Top 4 a few years back so must have beaten OBHS to get there.
think they went to the top 4 in 2016 and 2017
