Reds v Chiefs

Chiefs look they are trying score off everything
They've realised that the 2 spots in the final are almost certainly going to be decided by Points Differential, and they're a long way back in that "race to pile on cricket scores against the Oz teams".
My tipping hopes that this means they'll actually screw it up, and become the first NZ team to knock themselves out of the race by losing a match.

No surprises there...
What do you mean? It was a little unexpected for the ref to score the first try

Gah fucking hell Tiatia
Was dumb
You could see the reds wrapping around that side, and no chiefs followed. Hence the massive overlap

I hate those penalties/yellow cards.
Was hardly a ‘deliberate knock on’, it was more a I’ll have a crack at that, coz it could come off…
It's annoying, but it's the way it's been refereed for ages. The players should know better

I hate the term 'deliberate knock-on".... but what I found interesting, was Berry's description of it never used that term... he was constantly "he made a deliberate play for it"... which is more accurate, and better describes the law.

I always thought it had to be a deliberate knock down If Tiatia had got under that just a fraction more he prob would’ve knocked it up and regathered

Yep I know… doesn’t mean I have to agree 😉
Happens anywhere else on the field except the 22 it’s a knock on.
Just annoys me, there’s a deliberate knock on, then there’s taking a chance. Big difference IMO.
