Did not reverse jinx the nephew as he rolled in for at least one try (about six or seven for the season so far). The second half must have seen interested spectators invited to have half a game given the paucity of scoring after the break!

Midweek tests.
The Wallabies and France will meet in three tests in the space of just 11 days in July, with the teams playing two midweek tests. The first test is in Sydney on Wednesday, July 7 at the SCG followed by a Tuesday night Melbourne match at AAMI Park on July 13 and a final test on Saturday, July 17 at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium. The condensed series is due to French club commitments and hotel quarantine for the visitors.

Nephew 4 plays 4th Grade in Sydney and has a 9.00 AM start at St Pauls College Oval tomorrow. Not sure what to make of that but over here they would be playing on adjacent fields to the Under 6 Ripper grade at that hour of the day! At least his clubmates playing in the Senior 3rd grade have the luxury of a lie in in the morning as they have a 10.25am start.

Crazy scheduling. The Premier Rugby schedule at the moment is supposed to have 3 Grades + 2 Colts sides.
Several clubs have pulled back to less than this - a couple of the struggling clubs are back to 1-2 Grades and 0-1 Colts - and Premier Rugby thinks it is sustainable.

@nta Well it looks like they mustered enough guys to play considering the ungodly kick off time and snuck home 22 - 17. Just as well Sydney does not have the winters places like Waipukurau do over here as the frost will still be in full bloom on the ground at that kick off time!!!!!! Didn't stop the kids having to play in bare feet during my days all those years back though although I must concede that things have changed slightly and you are allowed to wear boots now where my grandchildren play.
-
@nta Yes they did but the must have it fairly easy in filling their rosters considering the large number of current or past students they have available at their fingertips. Nephew 3 hogged another couple of tries this week despite starting on the bench. He must have learnt a few things from me during those smashings he got from me in his Nana's back yard when he used to come to stay with her from time to time. One in particular saw him run off crying to Nana when he failed to pass to his unmarked younger brother outside him and a certain try was lost as he was taken out in a vigorous ball and all tackle!!!!!!!!! As it was in the days before TMOs I was unjustly convicted on very flimsy evidence.

The Cadbury Wallabies...
Rugby Australia have unveiled a new principal partner for the first time in 30-years with chocolate giant Cadbury partnering with the Wallabies and Wallaroos until 2026.
Cadbury's logo will adorn the new Wallabies jersey for their first Test against France in Sydney, taking up the position former partner Qantas held for 30 years.
Cadbury will also be a major partner of the Wallaroos, taking up pride of place on the Wallaroos shorts.
