It definitely makes for a better final when one team doesn't have to fly from Africa or Argie.

All the talk on the breakdown about MacKenzie and the clutch. When it really counted in the final Mounga had the clutch and MacKenzie melted under the pressure.

@anonymous if you can’t see how good Bridge is then you don’t know much about rugby.

Those three missed penalties were huge.

5 titles in 5 years. Take a bow Razor. Take a bow the Crusaders. The best there is in Rugby right now.

Bridge was certainly nothing special tonight.

Yeah, yeah. I know I know nothing about rugby. No need to rub it in 😢

Nah. Don’t think it was the pressure just the wrong night to have a bad one. RMs early miss was probably the worst one of the night.

Justin Marshal must have shit the bed at the crusaders, he seems to be getting more and more bitter in his commentary on the Crusaders

And well done Chiefs, there was probably only a couple of fine lines in that performance where the tide could have turned, reckon you will go well against the Ozzies

Thanks for the award but I have to hand it back. Kicking pressure kicks in must win games is what DMac did to get us to the final. Pretty silly to claim it was the occasion that got to him.
Had a bad day with the boot. It happens to all kickers. You just hope it’s in a game you still win.

Guess I've been away too long and maybe a Canes fan too long. But I find it really hard to get too excited over a SRA title.

I think the longer I'm out of NZ, the less I care about provincial stuff, and the more I care about the AB's

I think you're muddling franchise and provincial.

I love the provincial stuff just slightly less than the ABs, yet can take and leave the franchise stuff mainly due to the fact my supposed local franchise is anything but.

    Anyway, congrats to the Crusaders.

I just have to say that Mo'unga isn't that good and any number of southerners (and my Magpies whanaunga @Stargazer too probably) will take the award in a canter. 😉

I'm not muddling it, but I take your point, I've just never felt the passion. I care even less about Manawatu than I do about the Canes. One of the (very few) quirks of growing up in Palmy

Various random thunks before reading the thread ...

Enjoyable game, aside from the result

Both yellows were yellows, although Ref had to tie himself in knots to not red Reece given TMO's advice, yellow was the right call.

Damo missing those penalties didn't help much.

Jordan is such a fluke artist. The ball just breaks for him (like Reece last year), that try just bounced horribly for DMac but perfectly for Jordan.

Thought T-cube was good (apart from that last knock on). Would have liked to have seen more of him.

    Liked the Sith midfield.

    Liked the Chiefies' midfield.

    Like Jacobsen at 8.

Is Samsoni Taukei'aho 3rd or 4th hooker in line? Or higher?

Just the vibe I got from the game is I'm not as down about the All Blacks as I was. Played at pace with great skill.
