Game of two halves for the warriors and I think summarized by the fern nicely. They got complacent and then started to make some basic errors and before you knew it the completion rate was barely above 50% for most of the second half. That coupled with a right side defence that had three first grade starts between them. Kosi look like he has some athleticism, but just got lost defensively. Still errors aside, they won. If they finished a couple of those breaks in the second half then it wouldnt been close either.
He is still raw, but how the broncos let Walsh go is beyond me, actually looked good injecting himself at six (when he could grip the ground), giving RTS even more space. Also tackling machine Curran again looked good again and we should also lock him down to a long term contract.

Warriors confirm Paul Turner leaving at the end of the year, although he has a season ending injury. For the record the Warriors did make him an offer to stay, but could not compete with new offer.
Interestingly Broncos lose another one ( was rumoured as a swap for Walsh), but he has actually signed for the Titans.

Good signing for Melbourne. Brisbane's stocks are taking a hammering despite keeping Staggs who wants to play 6 from what I hear. I think they'll end up with Johnson at halfback too if I were a betting man so Staggs and Johnson to be the Broncos halves for next year.

FFS, how on earth is Burgess still in the country and hasn't spent time in the big house? My uncle spent time in the big house for less traffic offences than that. I guess Burgess is saved by the fact the camera's are pinging him and the cops aren't catching him.

with their superstar fullback not playing. Melbourne's backup fullback is good enough to start at most NRL sides though.

Is that really what Souths want by not giving Reynolds another contract? I am really really struggling to reconcile that roster decision. All those other Souths playmakers only look good because Reynolds is doing the hard work organising the side, while STILL being an attacking threat.

This is just stupid from Souths, they think they have enough talent in the youngsters coming through so decide to manage the under the salary cap by not offering the linchpin an extra year...and he is a souths junior as well. Whoever he does sign for will be getting a bargain for two years if he can stay injury free

Jeez a combination of drugs, money, entitlement and being thick as two short planks is a disastrous combo for ( what seems to be ) the vast majority who play the sport.
