@nepia I knew he was playing for them; you were the one wondering .
And, thus far, I haven't seen any media release from Southland that he has re-signed with them (his previous contract has expired), so that means he doesn't have to play there. He has a regular job and lives in Hawke's Bay.
Having said that, unless MMT and Gareth Evans haven't recoved from their injuries in time for the NPC, and/or the ABs pick up Flanders, and/or we lose more loosies, I'm not interested in Lamborn returning to the Magpies, no matter how well he played for the Stags. I'd rather see a return from Hugh Renton, but I don't think that will happen.
I was referencing the comment from his instagram post, not you. Why would people be wondering if he was in a team 4 days ago?
Although I'm not a huge fan of Lamborn, we might actually need him this year with injuries.

@stargazer With confirmation of him turning out for someone down here it gives me a very uneasy feeling in the stomach. Will be careful what I consume at the Axemen's aftermatch function. Tiaki Fabish is listed at lock for OBU so will try and give him the once over.

By the way, Bas Visinia is playing club rugby in Manawatu (OBM) nowadays. So either someone has overtaken him in the pecking order (Thompson-Dunn?; a new signing?), or Manawatu has approached him. He was in the Magpies fringes on an injury replacement contract, last year, and in the Saracens before that, so I guess it makes sense he's trying it somewhere else.

Livestream Tamatea v Pirates (at least one of these links should work):
-
Watched Hastings v Clive.
Hastings clearly superior, had the wind in the first half for a 17-0 lead. Vastly superior scrum which shunted Clive back at every scrum until props Hastings Jason Long and Dennis Tapusoa were subbed off in the second half.
Lolagi Visinia (Clive) and Danny Toala (Hastings) marked each other. Not much of a contest, as Hastings had the majority possession. Toala and Visinia confronted each other three times, all with Toala in possession, Toala was tackled twice and got around Visinia once.
On Blues v Chiefs last night:
Zarn Sullivan = HB Under 16, 2016
Bailyn Sullivan = HB Under 16, 2014

Nash Cup Final tomorrow:
HRS v TaradaleI hope they'll livestream the game and that the quality will be much better than the previous weeks.
Haven't seen the team line-ups, yet, but I assume Danny Toala will be playing for Hastings.
As posted in the Hurricanes 2021 thread, Pouri Rakete-Stones (Norths) and Lolagi Visinia (Wainuiomata) will be playing club rugby in Wellington.
Neria Fomai will play for Green Island in the Otago comp. Couldn't find Caleb Makene on a team list there.

From the Hawke's Bay app article below:
... Taradale's regular starting halfback Humphrey Sheild out of action with a shoulder injury ...
Magpies hooker and regular Hastings Rugby and Sports No 8 Jacob Devery is likely to miss the match. He has an infected calf after being bitten by a spider.
Magpies winger Mason Emerson, who has been playing in the Hastings midfield, has yet to recover from a head knock collected in his team's 25-15 win against Taradale a fortnight ago. Fellow midfielder, Danny Toala, who scored two tries in that match, has returned to Hurricanes duty.
They'd better give him game time then, if they deny him the opportunity to play in the Nash Cup Final.
