Aussie presenters just put "Is league the greatest game in the world" to the vote due to this match ... they clearly didn't watch the Chiefs last night.
 
Ben Matulino named man of the match - he told Buderus that Lillyman played better. 
 
Napa almost had a So'oialo in Rustenburg, Lauaki in his match, effect on this match - a couple of crucial errors that likely cost the Roosters the game.

- The refs need to grow some balls and make some calls. Guerra taking Hoffman out when he was about to score should have been a penalty try or sin bin for Guerra. 
- Lisone is one lucky, LUCKY, man. Should have won the Warriors the game but decided to play the ball off the ground. Grrrrr....
- Tui Lolohea. Tui LOLOHEA. TUI LOLOHEA!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Seriously, they need to move Tui Lolohea into the halves with SJ. Too talented to be standing out on the wing all day.
- Still think the Roosters will make the playoffs despite being 0-5.
- Veterans Matulino, Lillyman, Gubb got the go forward. Wasn't happy with Vete and Lisone's performance.
- Knew Luke would play well after copping a lot of flak this week.
- Start working on dropgoals....nah, fuck it, just score tries.
- Rugby League is the greatest game of all. And if you disagree you're a member of ISIS or Young Nats. Or both. Actually they're the same thing. Fuck you fluffybunnys.

I get the dislike of Robson, but if you move Lolohea into the halves the pressure will go back on Johnson to be the main playmaker. I kind of like the way Johnson has been popping up as second man (kinda of like a 2nd 5/8 I suppose). He gets the ball on the move and with more space. Looks way more dangerous that way.

Man, what a game today. Sure, the Warriors did their best to blow it at times, but they also did well to fight back from that deficit. The Warriors at the end of last season would have rolled over and died when the Roosters went ahead. 
 
I thought RTS and Lolohea were outstanding today. I don't mind Robson, I think he'll probably come good by the end of the season. He doesn't really need to do heaps, just compliment Shaun Johnson. Johnson's goalkicking still worries me. I wouldn't want to put my life on him kicking a moderately easy kick to win a game any time soon. He seems to get the yips some games, and that puts heaps of pressure on the team if they're only getting 4 points rather than 6. 
 
As an aside, can anyone actually remember a time when Kata passed the ball to someone? That guy reminds me of an 8 year old playing rugby where he just wants to get the ball and hold the ball so he can get the glory. Yeah he scored some tries, but he took on two defenders himself while Manu was unmarked outside him. He was lucky he got over the line, because that would have been fairly unforgivable if he had blown that.

He's the starting halfback for a team that has scored 40 points in 5 games, and barely look like scoring. He was fucking awful against the Cowboys, and might not make the team this week. St George are lowballing him (justifiably given performance), and no one else seems keen to sign him up. He certainly thinks he's still got something to offer, so he's holding out for a better contract. It might not come. They've got the Broncos this week, not the team you want to play when you need to start scoring. 
 
 
Oh, and how fucked have the NRL got their obstruction rules? Having the bunker hasn't even got consistency across all games, let alone better rulings.

The bunker seems to be a failed experiment that will hopefully be gone by the start of next season. I don't know a heap about it but I presume that it's modelled on the NFL one where the same officials at a remote location deal with all of the reviews etc from all of the games. The big difference being that in the NFL they often have ten or so games going on at once, so this may be necessary. Whereas the NRL normally only has one, maybe two overlapping on a Sunday afternoon so the whole thing seems a pretty redundant quirk to me. 
 
They have had some awful decisions. That should have been a penalty try on the weekend. You get the feeling it wasn't even considered by them, despite the ref telling Hoffman that it was.

Thomas Leuluai returns from injury 
Thomas Leuluai is set to play his first game in almost 11 months while Jonathan Wright replaces the injured Manu Vatuvei for the Vodafone Warriorsâ€™ sixth-round NRL clash against the Manly Sea Eagles at Mount Smart Stadium on Saturday (7.30pm kick-off; match day sponsor: Woodstock). 
Leuluai (30) had his 2015 season ended by an ACL injury in the clubâ€™s 10th-round game against the Parramatta Eels on May 16 last year. 
He has been included on a five-man bench but is poised to come back for his 68th NRL appearance on Saturday night. 
Wright is named on the left wing after Vatuvei was forced off with a hamstring injury 66 minutes into Sundayâ€™s 32-28 golden point win over the Sydney Roosters in Gosford. He made a try-scoring appearance filling in for Vatuvei against Melbourne on March 28, his only previous NRL outing so far this season. 
Vodafone Warriors head coach Andrew McFadden has made one other change to the starting line-up used against the Roosters, moving Sam Lisone to loose forward with Albert Vete going to the bench.
 
Plus the Warriors have officially traded RFM to the Bulldogs for Shaun Lane. Lane is playing in the NSW Cup team.

At least the NRL have copped to the fact the Bunker got it wrong, but typical that it happens to the Warriors and then they sort it out.
 
At least the Warriors are getting a roll on now with another easy beat team lined up.

Something is not right at the Dragons. With players like Widdop, Dugan, Lafai, Frizell, they should be able to get something on the board. Bunji might wanna take that $300k offer because it is probably the best he'll get at this point in his career.

Widdop is playing like dogshit (another player who is great at Melbourne, and shit everywhere else). Benji has been ordinary or hurt. Dugan is made of glass, and is dumb as a sack of hammers. 
 
But maybe Paul MacGregor can't coach? Being a favourite son really does give you a lot of leeway.

And the roll is over, even a cabbage Manly team can easily put the Warriors away. Talk about bogey team, they could play their reserve grade side and probably beat the Warriors.
 
What the fuck is Cappy doing with Mutts? Leaves him off half the game in the early games, now he runs him into the ground.
 
Kata passed more in this game than in his past season and a half . Someone must have forwarded my constructive criticism to him.
