I only have one question. Do we get a free snag at every game?

Quite happy to see them go there is enough depth at LH prop and Allan has been injured a lot
Cameron is ok but Burke has more to offer and I would like to see him given an extended run for Canterbury at First Five and maybe Ollie Lewis although he’s Is only 19 he has more ability .
I believe the Crusaders will not resign Cameron so maybe Lewis gets some game time for Canterbury for the future.

@chris I haven’t seen too much of Cameron to make a judgement, I’d assume he would be better than JGB up here though wouldn’t he?

So I'm likely being quite harsh here... but from what I've seen JGB sometimes plays well. So I'd prefer him.

(To be fair to him, Brett Cameron did have a good Mitre 10 Cup a couple seasons back).

@chris Cameron made a difference to the Canterbury side when he started in the last 2 games of the season against Ta$man and Auckland which saved them from relegation.

He's not amazing but cops a lot of unnecessary criticism at times. He's certainly NPC standard and would benefit with a decent run at the Canes if he goes there.

I think Canterbury need to develop some other First Five options so a move for Cameron to the Canes may work out for everyone.

Yea, I don't think he'd get half the criticism if he hadn't been picked for the ABs. The selectors really screwed him over, in a way, as there was no way he had the ability to match people's expectations once that occurred.

@bobily2 You're right he wouldn't. Yes he probably shouldn't have gotten an ABs test, but the kid has a bit to offer. Right now, he's better than Fergus Burke as was shown for Canterbury last year.

Cameron is still only 24 so the Canes could do a lot worse than have another specialist 1st 5 in their squad. I assume that is one of the motivations for moving to the Poo, as well as being closer to home (Whanganui).

Crusaders have decided Burke is the one to bring on hence he’s been in 23 every game so far
Burke will come on very well he will end up a lot better than Cameron.

@chris Yeah no doubt, and they'll probably be right as their judgement on these things is very good but as of now, if I were to start someone in a game, I'd choose Cameron.

There could be a possible move to Northland for Auckland and All Black prop Ofa Tuangafasi..my understanding Tuangafasi is looking to relocate his Whanau up to Northland primarily as lifestyle choice ..whilst I doubt he would never see much game for the Cambridge Blues ..it’s just sends a really good message , that Northland is a viable option , not to mention a decent All Black payout for the Taniwha ..

His brother Isi spent a season up North back in either 2017 or 2018 as I recall .

@steven-harris was 2018/2019 wasnt it then off to the Ta$man Foreign Legion 🎣

From what I have heard, the HP centre almost completed is getting plenty of people looking north for options, making the final last year no doubt helped too (even if it papered over a few mid-season cracks)
