Why the fuck didn't McKenzie get to take that kick again? They started running way fucking early.

McKenzie has really got to cut out that retarded run-up. His conversions are shit.

Cracking game of footy so far, great work by the Chiefs late in the half.

Brumbies building well, just need to tighten their defence in midfield. Cruden, McKenzie and Ngatai picking out slow forwards and punishing them.

Can't see the issues with the ref, setting a good standard and letting the game flow.

I don't think he is moving towards the ball so I don't know why they can start running.

Chiefs get amazing value out of those forwards. Really well organised. Compare with the Blues.

Is that the law? I think every ref so far has let players charge at him on his first step.

Yup I'm fairly certain the kicker has to be moving towards the ball before they can start running. Can anyone clarify the exact law?

All players of the opposing team must retire to their goal line and must not overstep that line until the kicker begins the approach to kick or starts to kick. When the kicker does this, they may charge or jump to prevent a goal but must not be physically supported by other players in these actions.

Good first half by the Chiefs. Just hope they aren't going to run out of puff, they've clocked up the kms big time in the last month.

Love DMac's style, just wish he would kick a little faster to shut down the charging.
