@siam For sure, and I still watch the pointless one in order to support the real one. I consider it charity.

Comment about sevens probably not so valid (for NZ anyway, I don't think sevens does much to help 15s). I spent 3 days each year, for 15 years (at least) propping up 15's in Hong Kong though.

Getting on the piss for three days is my kind of donation to sport.

Watched the extended highlights. That's a very weak Bangles side unfortunately, they are unlikely to post a total they can defend with that lineup.

Definitely. I’d rather the BCs bat first for some practice, as condescending as that sounds.

Black Caps chose to bowl again on what looks a batting friendly pitch.

We’ve contained them pretty well except for pie chucker Neesham who’s gone for 61 from his 8 overs.

    229/4 from 45

    Hope this link works.
Making life way harder than it needs to be.

Anyone recall an occasion when a fielder takes a waist high catch and immediately throws it in the air in celebration? They don't always catch that joyful fling. The ball is in the hands less time than Kyle's 🤔

    Thanks mate and Mn5 😉

We're chasing 272 for the win with Nicholls apparently concurring with us fern oracles, that the bangles ain't worth the time.
52 for 2 after 10 with the 2 least experienced at the crease. It's weird not having Kane or Ross to watch.

There's a lot of cricket left in this game

Wtf???!!! That's lunacy!!! He clearly has the ball in a firm grip in that hand, that's a joke.

    Will Young wtf?!!

Saw signs of that moving to off movement last game, never knew he'd take it to the patently ridiculous!

Nicholls and Young both out to very poor dismissals.

Top order looks a bit fragile with no Williamson or Taylor.

Bangles have never beaten NZ in an ODI in NZ. Could tonight be the night?

@canefan well if the other blackcaps play shots like 1,2 and 4, then all power to them🙂

Fucken 3 for 52 and Stevenson comments that it's great to have Ross Taylor around as a non player.

Stevenson is a terrible cricket commentator. Best described as constant drivel

Good recovery from Conway and Latham.

This could be copied & pasted from the earlier threads where Conway had been discussed, but I swear he’s born to play international cricket. So calm under pressure.

These two are going to have to attack the fast bowlers from here on in, the 2 spinners have bowled very well and have been hard to get away.

Vettori sitting in the Bangladesh camp, WTF?

I am enjoying this chase. Pleasant surprise after seeing we bowled first.

    Good opportunity for Conway.

I’ll let him off, as long as he doesn’t start doing it for the, shall I say, more competitive teams.

I go further and say it's a good thing. Bangladesh could potentially be a middling team (Ala Pakistan, Sri Lanka NZ - most of the time) with a bit of expertise and opportunity. It should be encouraged indeed.
