2 weeks in and it is looking like a loooooong season for a number of clubs
The Tigers are awful and the coach should be cutting a bunch of "names" who are just rubbish footballers and effort cancer in an NRL team. Although there is just nothing behind them
The Cowboys and the Dragons are shithouse. The Dogs are bereft of talent, and their coach already a proven failure.
The Broncos have no leadership, and no spine. Croft another in a long list of Melbourne players failing elsewhere. The Milford contract is a contender for the worst in NRL history. Walters has no head coaching experience so i am not sure what he does to turn this around.
I know the Panthers have had a soft start, but not giving up a point yet is pretty impressive. My dislike of the Clearies grows by the week. Ivan is such a smug yet prickly fuckwit.
Bottom 4 looking awful, about 4 teams looking amazing and a group in the middle that on their day could cause problems.
We wont have CHT this week if insta is correct, apparently he has a foot injury which wont make that game against Raiders any easier. Some promising signs by the warriors though, Bradman Best singlehandedly got Newcastle home, nice to see some fight still there though.

Jarryd Hayne guilty of being a fucking asshole and is due a decent stint in prison.
Now that he's been found guilty, what a scumbag.
Here's one for the lawyers .... from this page:
Jarryd Hayne has been found guilty of sexual assault, but remains a married man.
The NRL superstar was found guilty on Monday of two counts of sexual intercourse without consent after three days of jury deliberation. Why is this not rape?

No penile penetration? Read a story on stuff that seemed to say so. I don't know the legal definition though

My understanding from a largely disinterested perspective: She consented to sex, then he bit her on her delicate bits.

@antipodean I think it's more he came over, and they both were keen right up until she knew he kept the taxi waiting outside. She changed her mind, he did not.

Back to the footy....just seen a few highlights from various games and geez there were some dirty plays this weekend [earth shattering news I know].

@canefan haven’t bothered reading the article, but I assume it refers to the Egan no-try.
That was honestly one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen.
He didn’t have complete control, it was partially knocked backwards but even then there was never any separation between ball and hand.Someone should do the stats on how many points we are cheated out of per game, and in turn competition points due to these consistent dud calls against us.

Yup Egan's try. If we score that we have all the momentum. We had enough possession to win regardless, and our halves could have done more. But it is a gut punch to be denied in such a blatant way. Pretty much any other team in the comp gets the benefit of the doubt there. Its sickening

Yeah, it's been B/S years, and if you call it out you get labeled a whinger. It's like the Warriors get Williams as their own personal TMO every week while the rest of the NRL gets the bunker.

unlike the AFL in the NRL tonight's game is almost game of the round in Panthers v Melbourne.
Roosters v Souths tomorrow arguably bigger, and a possible GF preview.
Rest of the round pretty irrelevant.

Warriors scored immediately after the Egan try though. There was no material effect.
Warriors just didn't fire enough shots. I doubt the Phil Gould factor will make a difference.

Why won't sportsbet let me add "1 massive error by Justin Olam" to my same game multi?
-
Is Addo-Carr still the fastest man on the planet Gus you fuck head?
-
You will not see a better last minute and a half of any game ever. Unreal finish.
-
Bad night for the roosters. Well beaten by the bunnies and looks like they have lost Kearey for the season.
-
Good start from the Warriors. Playing direct.
-
So Raiders could be in some trouble here. Lost one player to injury and they have two others off with HIA.
