Not sure if this interests anyone but the Warriors are the third most followed 'footy' sports team in Oz on social media.

well this is interesting, young star on the rise, was meant to be promised fullback for the broncos in 2022 replacing Jamayne Isaako, however he will be in Warriors colours. Donkeys are filthy, stolen by Gus

@bayimports the reported $400k is a decent wedge for a bloke who has played a game of Grade

Good game last night (the bits i watched) in terrible conditions. Handling was better than it should have been.

Kaufusi should have been sent for that elbow, he absolutely meant that. The Storm are realising that Cameron Smith played hooker and halfback at the same time last year, and now there is no one to organise the side.

If he turns out to be as good as what they're talking about then its a good price for a starting fullback. I am not saying he is Papenhuyzen or is going to be him, but it is the risk reward all clubs are trying to secure. Papenhuyzen couldnt be offloaded from the tigs a couple of years ago when they were shopping him around and now he is a million dollar player. Its probably easier to run the risk with a 18 back than a young forward too..unless your name is Haas.

The low price allows warriors to stay in the hunt for a hooker or half too which will be very big money.

At worst kaufusi should have been in the bin and on report, league has a long way to go if they want to get serious about head injuries. Mattterson has a history of concussion and I expect him t be out for weeks as well. The storm never looked out of it to their credit, but definitely lost Smiths composure, as any team would have if they had that legend playing. They will still be thereabouts near the pointy end of the comp.

Papali'i looking fit and hungry at his new club too. Pretty good accuracy all round for sh*t weather. Anyone betting on any game in Sydney today watch out, more weather like that supposedly later today

Snaffling youth stars who can't quite break into their senior teams sounds like a decent strategy, along with trawling the Queensland Cup for their better players. Better than paying top dollar for some big name who comes in and takes the piss and leaves no money for other recruits

Warriors had maybe 4 sets back to back on the Newcastle try line in the opening 10 minutes, but didn’t even look like scoring.

Both teams making plenty of metres down the middle of the park.

Egan's passing is so slow, Harris-Tavita just shuffles the ball along.

That’s a tough call against the Warriors, even though it’s gone backwards, it’s a knock on in league 9 times out of 10.

Both teams high kicking game is rubbish. Kicks that should be contested are going 2 or 3m too long every time, very little pressure on the kick receivers.

Egan doesn’t mind a dart out of dummy half, and gets the try this time.

What wait, they want to look at it now just as the kicker is lining up the conversion.

He never fucking lost that at all, that is an absolute disgrace of a call.

Same same then with the Warriors and dud calls then huh?

It's easier to take if he makes fuck ups both ways. Our forward pack looks honest and tough. But our high kicking is rubbish

Agree with that, but seem to lack some spark though. Need to go shopping for a nippy dummy half.

I often wonder why teams don’t go blind side when they’re under huge pressure trying to come out of their own 10 or 20.
It’s often slow ball, and the opposition fly up on the open side knowing who the ball is going to, but they don’t send them up on the blind?
