Also can't mark forums as read and no up/down arrows to go to first/last post.
Yes I have an ancient laptop with IE. I can see the same thing.
Sorry, there's zero chance I'm fixing anything today though. Too busy. Should have some time over the weekend
In the meantime you're stuck with your phone or you can nag your works IT department to get off IE
Incidentally 0.4% of TSF traffic comes from IE. It's just dropped behind the Seamonkey browser
And we had to look up what the fuck Seamonkey was
I'm glad it wasn't just me!

All good. Just jumped on via phone as my posts were disappearing but it appears it is just that the page won’t load as I scroll down.

What's up with YouTube embeds on here - the fullscreen option is never enabled for some reason?

allowfullscreen is set but is getting ignored by the google side
Eventually I want to change the embeds to another method. That's a while away.

Hasn't been for ages

People, for the love of God, stop using IE to browse the web. Your IT department should give you a modern browser to use even if some of their shitty custom apps still need IE. It's a waste of Duluth's time fixing stuff for old browsers.

I can't upvote some users posts. It says Error forbidden.
Looks like a bug on the latest release link
Apparently refreshing helps most of the time. I’ll install the fix when it’s available

Yeah I was getting that one occasionally yesterday on my laptop. Just go into the URL bar and update the post number to the next one and it'll load.

Probably. Nothing to do with me.
They were moved in the latest release. All I do is change a few styles over the top.
Doing any more customisation is not worth the effort
Cool cool, I hate it, but I guess I'll get used to it over time.

Internet Explorer
The problems @Hooroo was getting was nothing to do with layout changes. It was actually code that is failing to run.
The app was attempting to load, got less than halfway through and then had an error. All the code after that point did not run.
So the missing lightbulb and lack of scrolling etc etc is because the app will not work on IE at allI think Nodebb stopped supporting IE ~3 years ago. It's been luck that it has worked for this long. Forunately it is only 0.4% of our traffic over the last year and it's dropping fast (well now I guess it will be 0%)
This will happen more and more if your company forces you to be on IE. For instance in a few months Microsoft Internet Explorer will not support opening various Microsoft web apps
It's basically dead
Kill it with fire
Hopefully you can successfully nag your IT team?
