I also have a theory about NZ's supposed batting tactics. I think it comes alot from having such a student of the game opening. I think Williamson reads the pitch in the first few deliveries and overs and sets the tactics for those that follow with instructions be sent back to the dugout, so the batsmen that come in have a clear idea of the pitch. Another reason why Williamson opening is a good idea IMO

Kane is the anti-BMac in that he was won the coin toss in all 4 games so far and batted first. The big question is how NZ will fare if asked to chase. As BSG said the SF vs England is in Delhi so NZ will be playing at a different venue for 5 consecutive games.

Its funny as the interviewer said last night that it would be a "home" game in Delhi for us. But if anything its exactly the opposite and is likely advantageous for England.

By home game, maybe he means we'll get the neutral Injuns support?

England made 142 vs Afghanistan and 171 versus Sri Lanka. Ironically, we probably want a low scoring pitch which is a bit slow.

England absolutely tonked the Sri Lankans in the last 5 overs though.. I think they scored 71 off the last 5 overs..

England were heading for 140 again until Buttler let loose..

Chick Ferns demolished the Saffas in their game, so they are unbeaten and through to the semi finals as well.

NZ has an opportunity to do a big double here.

Afghanistan are looking good here.

Windies are 40/3 cashing 123 but they're basically 4 down, with Fletcher retiring hurt.

Afghanistan win 😃 What a great game.

For some stupid reason the Windies brought Fletcher back on in the last over with ruined hamstring even though the semi was already guaranteed before this game. Dumb.

    Aus v India on now.

Aus batting are 100/4 after 13 overs.

Betfair currently has India @1.67 to win so must be a decent batting wicket.

Aus get 15 runs off the last four balls and finish on 160.

Betfair is India 1.68 and Aus 2.47 at the innings break.

To win the tournament currently is

India 3.95
NZ 4.4
West Indies 5.85
Aus 6.5
England 5.15

So basically no idea who might win it as market very even. Flip a coin.
