And we are underway, kind of

Season is getting rejigged every week it seems. Currently a couple of teams playing out of our little "pop up" temporary stadium we have had built.

Saturday the Taipans beat the Kings by a bee's dick. Ware's last second shot to win rimmed out. We were fucking terrible, but somehow Sydney were worse

Last night we got absolutely hosed by the Hawks. Those fuckers are smokeys for the comp. They have 3 imports and a rising star somehow. Goorjian is a fucking good coach. And they absolutely destroyed us last night, the 2nd half was disgraceful.

For the Taipans, Machado and Oliver are still awesome. Deng and Noi are decent at one end, but not so much at the other. Everyone else fucking sucks. Can the Breakers take Ngatai back please? We are missing Newbill so much. He lead the defense, and more importantly, he ran the 2nd unit. We had 4 bench points last night. Two guys with huge minutes deep in to the 4th were 0-12 from the field. And on defense we just lose guys and give up easy buckets. I was bullish on Saturday arvo, now i am back to my usual expectations.

Breakers and Perth yet to get underway. I am expecting big things from the Breakers this year, that roster is pretty stacked.

Melbourne United will be strong favourites to win the comp. Perth's odds are longer than expected despite the roster changes. They have a habit of making the finals but hopefully that streak ends this season.

yeah they are favourites, and i watched our preseason game against them and they looked pretty good. It's a good roster they have put together.

United are stacked and have the deepest team.

Hawks have scoring prowess and after a rocky first game got it together last night. Team chemistry still an issue.

Hawks with another good win tonight against the Bullets. Tyler Harvey’s runner was unstoppable. He came up big and scored 31. I like their squad.

Looking forward to seeing the Breakers first hit out tomorrow.

Pretty late though - 9pm tipoffs aren't family friendly, which is annoying. Still, at least they are playing!

Covid has really mucked up the schedule. The Breakers have moved from Auckland to Melbourne to Hobart, and now to Adelaide. Tonight will be their first game in weeks while the 36ers have already played 3 games.

I'm looking forward to watching Tai Webster in action.

You gotta love the NBL. Breakers + US big = fouls.

Anyway, game on for the 2nd half. Hopefully the Breakers don't fade and Patterson gets hot.

Breakers just got hosed with a no call. Patterson getting fouled in the open floor then gave it up expecting the whistle. Hopefully we can survive this. Oh for VAR in the NBL

    Fuck!

36ers drain a 3 to tie with 10 seconds remaining after Tai Webster left his man free. Then NZ fail to get a basket and leave 3 seconds on the clock for Adelaide to attempt
    winner. Brainless

We get a final attempt after Loe gets a turnover, and TW is blocked. OT

The camera work / replays / slomos are terrible.

Budget. Jeez Tai is fast. Got coast to coast in about 3 seconds. Who wants to win this? No one is putting their hand up. I see us losing this now in a whimper

Some home cooking reffing for the 36ers on that Lamar drive. Humphries just turned his head and whacked him.

Humphries finally gets called for a foul. What a shock. Our offense has dried up
