Australia v India

I'm always very dubious a team can play defense for an entire day, especially a Day 5 pitch. You need to put some sort of pressure on the fielding unit. Faf's innings in Adelaide doesn't happen very often.
-
@mariner4life it's hard to tell what they are going to do yet - because Pujara always plays like this. Gill seems to be playing his natural game.

My worry as an Aussie fan is fatigue. I think we need a few wickets out of Green and Lyon, and I'm unsure either can deliver.

No luck for Lyon there - good over from him.
Quality slow mo of the decision and the aussies hands on their heads

My only grrr around DRS is ones like that. That is out. When it is got that much on the bail, it's out!
Yep, that looked pretty solid. I guess it allows for any margin of error in ball tracking from that far out though.
Either way, perhaps Gill will use his bat from now on.

And that's it, isn't it? If that's 10cm from the stumps it's out out out. If it's as far down the track as that was, there's margin of error that amplifies the further the ball has to go.
I'd be happy to write 'benefit of the doubt goes to the batsman' into the rules, and tweak the DRS. It's there to avoid howlers; that wasn't a howler, it was a tactical review

That is in the rules already, but the benefit doesn't go to the batsman, it goes to the umpire. Which I think is the right way to do it.

Warne very critical of the field.
It's getting tedious! We get it, Warne, it's not what you want.

@Hooroo that's Warne on commentary for you.
That hat is for tools too! Craig McMillan, I'm looking at you too.

Warne does know his shit, but he's just critical all the fucking time.
We get it Shane, you think you should have captained Australia...
