@ACT-Crusader pretty happy with that result. I picked the mavs as a slight under dog and they came through and kept my multi alive.

The regular season results are all over the place so far. Who expected the Spurs to beat the Lakers away? And a KD and Kyrie-less Nets beat the 76ers.

I reckon it’s going to be all over the place for the whole season with more guys getting Covid and having to sit out games and then the protocols around testing etc.

Watching the Pelicans now and one thing I noticed is Adams is looking more athletic this year compared to the last couple.

Might have something to do with the way they use him too. No more standing around watching Russ run about

LaMelo Ball gets his first career triple-double(22/12/11). He was also one assist away from a triple-double in his last game.

Seems like he will be a better player than his brother. In their head to head Lonzo was inneffectual. But I haven't seen him on a regular basis so maybe I'm talking out of my ass

Youngest in NBA history to get a TD too. His best shooting game as well.

His influence on both games was pretty big. I think one thing that really helps LaMelo’s game is that both starting guards are shooting/scoring types and allows Ball to run the plays. Add on a dependable Hayward and an improving PJ Washington and they will be competitive in most games.

@ACT-Crusader I'm rooting for him because it makes the NBL a viable path and we may see more talent come this way.

    Agree.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Jalen Green next year after his alternate pathway from High School to D League to Draft.

@mariner4life it'll end up being a secondary pathway IMO. the NCAA is going to let players make money sometime in the next year. Once the colleges figure out how they can exploit this then we are only really going to see G-League players in the NBL. We might end up as a Last Chance U for wayward superstars but I think just because of the corrupt bastards timing, of changing their stance on player payments, it's highly unlikely we will get blue chips again.

I just finished watching the Warriors v Raptors game, Curry hit his first shot and then didn’t hit another until there was less to an 3 minutes to go in the game.

Had plenty of good looks but just couldn’t hit.

Raptors are in a massive funk right now, but nonetheless a decent win for a Warriors team trying to get any sort of win!

Kyrie Irving has gone AWOL for undisclosed personal reasons. He was snapped at his sister's birthday party without a mask. There is no timetable on his return, and he will probably be stood down for not wearing said mask. Doing nothing to dispel the idea that he is a locker room cancer and allround bad teammate. I have no sympathy for KD though, he knew who he was getting into bed with

Yes he did. Seduced by KD who wanted Kyrie as well. He swung for the fences but chose the wrong stars to hitch his wagon to

Nets quietly playing better without Kyrie...

And Patty Mills is in some seriously good form right now. With all the ups and downs that will ply out this season, they might snag an unlikely playoff spot. Murray is a massive talent but man he is frustrating sometimes.

Now Sean Marks has traded for James Harden.

Will be a fun ride whatever happens.
