Fuck I'm quite late on this, but I didn't know Tony Brown was Māori and played for the Māori All Blacks a few years back. Got me by surprise.

@Bovidae I expected that! Here's hoping that all the (Pasifika and Maori) players get rid of that silly blond and pink dyed hair, too!

@Bovidae about time. I kept expecting the bloody thing to fall off the way it seemed to bobble around.

@Bovidae I think he just tied it back. On the news, it was still there.

As a spectator it really emphasised how busy and effective he was. Could be a good tactic to get selectors eyes.

@Bovidae That’s pretty, also quite funny coming from Osborne too as he’s pretty fair himself.

Not suffering from a hint of ginge tho

Last time I got punched in the head was by a ginger Maori about 2yrs my senior, c. 1990 on my way home from school. Apparently I was being too cheeky. I didn't punch him back cos I was cheeky but not totally stupid .

    Good times.

Yes, that looks to be the case from other photos/videos. Hastings bogan. 😉

Gah, 2020 just really is just a shit year. Keeps throwing bad news at us.
Me: "Fakatava has sorted his year, Yay!"
2020: "No, actually he's just tied it back"

@mofitzy Wonder if any of them qualified on "nationality/citizenship" grounds as they all look to have British/Irish names? My nephew, who is on the fringes of Super Rugby in Australia (holds a Development/WTG contract with one of the teams) carries passports/citizenship from NZ, Australia and the Republic of Ireland so he can pick and chose any of those if he ever proves to be any good.
Well no he doesn't in reality as he will be disinherited if he opts for the second of those named countries!!!!!! Pity he is not my sister's son as at least then he would carry a different family name...................
