<p>Ireland have improved as the tournament wore on. McCaw-esque levels of cynical play today though, which the ref didn't ping. When we (NZ) play Ireland we will need to be ready for the boxkicks and the up 'n' unders, stop those and mauls, and Ireland will have to find other ways to score.</p>

So England rise from the ashes of their embarrassing RWC showing to win the GS for the first time in over a decade, ushering in a new era and rediscovered sense of hope and optimism that they can rise to the top of world rugby again. Well Fuck you and thanks for nothing Eddie Jones

Ignoring the semantics of whether that's feigning injury or not, I think it's pathetic and is not something I enjoy seeing in rugby.</p>

<p>That aside I think Ireland do have some decent players coming through and will build nicely over the coming seasons. I enjoyed watching Scotland try and mix things up. Wales, for all their experience and players, are often brainless in attack. France's problems aren't limited to finding a decent 10 but that alone would move them forward massively. Italy need a lot of long term support to become competitive. England were by far the best team and deserved winners. </p> -

He was already competing for the ball when Dunbar arrived into ruck at speed, kneeing Sexton forcefully in the back of head whilst grabbing hold of Sexton and throwing him. </p>

That doesn't make sense. Claiming to be hurt somewhere other than where you were actually hurt - I don't doubt the knee hurt - is still feigning injury. That he clutched the part of his head that would've hit the ground from the reckless clear-out if he wasn't so lucky isn't protesting to the referee, it's trying to con him. </p> -
<p>Clear yellow card. Clear knock to the head, keeps competing and once he's out of the contest grabs his head which isn't a surprise given the knock and the history he's had. Complete non-issue.</p>

<p>His behavior the whole game was a disgrace. Gloating to Scottish players and bitching to the referee, Even going on with it after the whistle when the players are shaking hands., very very poor from him.</p>

<p>Whether he was hurt or not it can't have been that bad if he can sit up and seagull to the ref about it before clutching his head and waiting for the physios. The guy is fast becoming Mike Brown level of knob head. Add to that he had a very average game anyway and has not exactly set the world on fire this 6 nations. And yes its a straight yellow for a very dumb throw. But he would have gotten that regardless of grabbing his head or getting up and dusting up the Dunbar, he choose the real bitch option. </p>

<p>He may be the best out half in Ireland but he is currently failing the no dickheads rule. A bit of humility goes a long way in this sport. </p>
