England: Daly; Joseph, Slade, Farrell, May; Ford, Youngs; M Vunipola, George, Sinckler, Itoje, Launchbury, Curry, Underhill, B Vunipola.

Replacements: Cowan-Dickie, Genge, Stuart, Hill, Earl, Willis, Robson, Watson.

Something of a lop-sided bench with Eddie reportedly having Ben Earl training with the backs 😲

@MiketheSnow I wish I shared your pessimism but obviously that would be my optimism. I think you know what I mean. I don't think this will be a run away victory, though I do make us favourites.
The only way this is going to be close is if you have multiple yellows and / or a red.

And arguably the best of the lot.

Try to Slade. Farrell misses the kick.

    7-5.

New Welsh 7, James Botham, is Lord Botham's grandson.

    Shocked that we're in this.

Thought England would blow us away within 20 mins.

England look dangerous with ball in hand but much improved defence from Wales.

Welsh scrum has struggled but Poite got that last one wrong. England slip and drop every time.

Still 11-7. Both teams set up to defend.

Finally a ref who penalises Maro Itoje for sticking his mits in the ruck. Wales penalty. 13-18.

Watson nearly in for England. Good defensive work by Rees-Zammit to force the turnover.

England with another penalty 24-13. England forwards much too good for Wales.

Eddie Jones must think he has died and gone to heaven being the Coach of this England pack. Not a weak link anywhere in that 8 at all.

Can't expect to win matches with an average scrum and two hookers who can't throw the ball in straight / find their man.

Itjoe should have gone for 10 for the deliberate knockdown in front of the sticks.

Still it's not the 30+ point drubbing I expected.

    So happy days

Another dominant scrum from England. Their pack has ground a brave Wales into the turf this afternoon. Best International team in the world in 2020.
