That’s 2 out of the 3 best 6th men of last season. They are going deep. Which means they are going for a dynasty.
They have a great opportunity to win back to back

An interesting stat in an ESPN article about the trade.
Adams has the fourth-highest field goal percentage (58.9%) in NBA history.
Hopefully he can be more involved in the offence at the Pelicans.
Lonzo is a pass first PG so Adams should get some easy baskets if he runs the floor....

Rondo to the hawks with Kris Dunn.
Hayward got a pay day from MJ he wasn't getting anywhere else.

I'm happy Rondo is not going to any of the major contenders, he was a very valuable piece of the Lakers' title run

That Hayward contract is a head scratcher. Can not figure why anyone would throw that at him.
MJ has to be one of the worst owners in the league

He obviously thinks he needs to pay over the odds for anyone that is remotely close to top drawer. Being a small market team he would be better served taking a look at what teams like SA and OKC do, or even Atlanta now

Torrey Craig to the Bucks. And what is cool is, Bucks fans are genuinely stoked.
Also Spurs have dumped Bryn Forbes on the Bucks. Excellent.

Starting PG for the Spurs. Can shoot. Can't defend. Got waaaaay too many minutes.
Will probably do a good job for the Bucks because they are better positioned to use his strengths and hide his weaknesses. Also he will probably bench for them.
Pop loved him, apparently because he works real hard all the time. This might be one of those trades where both teams are better for it?

@mariner4life I had to look him up (shows how much regular season I watch these days). Looks rubbish, he basically regressed in every single category this season (except FGA!), which is pretty poor for a 4th season guy in his 2nd season as a starter. In that set up.

As a part of the trade sending Steven Adams to New Orleans, the Pelicans and Adams agreed to a two-year contract extension, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe on Monday evening. The extension, which is fully guaranteed according to sources, is for two years and $35 million. Adams is in the final year of a four-year, $100 million deal he signed with Oklahoma City prior to the 2016-17 season. He is set to make $27.58 million in 2020-21.
Pelican uniforms will become popular in NZ.

And then the articles about how Adams won’t play for the TBs will follow...
