The Waikato v BoP game is huge

Shame about the silly schedule.. it’s on at the same time as the shield match

@Duluth Yep, that could set up the NH/BOP game to decide a semifinal, and relegate Canterbury.

You can blame Canterbury for that too! πŸ˜‰

If Wellington pulls off the upset tomorrow there will be more twists and turns.

@Bovidae Yeah, the formula for Cantab relegation is zero points for them tonight, four for BOP, and one for Wellington.

@Tim BOP can get their 4 pts next week.

Ta$man haven't got the memo so far. πŸ™„

So BOP and Harbour battle out a non-bonus point draw, the Poo miraculously beat Welly and to top it off we beat Auckland with a bonus point to steal a finals spot πŸ˜‰

That would be a regular time draw and no points in the 20mins of extra time? Easy!

You should get some good odds on a Canterbury title now

    Miracles can come true!

Alternatively Canterbury beat Auckland by 30 and Harbour beats BOP 6-5! We are through.

    Dare to believe.

If the Harbour v Bop match goes that way Auckland might throw the match to get an easy semi final

Auckland will have to beat Canterbury or they could consign NH to relegation. The loser of BOP vs NH can still be in trouble.

I am assuming Wellington is good enough to beat the Poo.

The tie breaker will be the winner of the Round Robin match played between the two teams. For example, Ta$man would finish ahead of Wellington, and Waikato would finish ahead of both Canterbury and Wellington if they all ended up on 29 pts.

With no draws there has to be a winner and a loser in each game. That makes JGB's fuckup against Canterbury even more important now if those two teams ended up on the same points.

I think Ta$man and Waikato are safe.

I don't think there's any way that both Harbour and BoP can get to 29 points, is there?

I didn't think this was possible either, but somehow the sporting gods find a way πŸ™‚

@Duluth Auckland will probably send a B team down south anyway given they have already secured home semi (and home final if they win semi) . They are pretty banged up at the moment

    It's only Canterbury.
