The NRL Season of 2016
-

Warriors put in another 40 minute performance and the Broncos cruise to a 25-10 victory.

Positives:

- The Warriors played a more direct running game which got Luke a little more involved (and got him a try).

- Kata was one of the better players for once. At least he was trying to do something unlike some of the veterans.

- Bodene Thompson was causing trouble for Reed and Milford's side of the field on attack and defence.

- As mentioned, Sam Lisone is all aggression.

Negatives:

- Forget the annual media reports of the boys running over sand dunes - these guys aren't fit enough. Fatigue has been a problem for several seasons now.

- Even before he got injured Manu Vatuvei was struggling. Time to bring in Fusitua (AND KONRAD HURRELL!!!!). Sadly Cappy will bring in Jonty Wright and Matt Allwood.

- Speaking of the soon-to-be fired coach, best image of the night was Cappy sitting in the box surrounded (and I do mean "surrounded") by 4-5 assistant coaches. This was followed by a shot of the Broncos coaching box which showed only Wayne Bennett.

- This was also a good image:

Best Warriors of the night? Probably Thompson, Gavet and Kata. Yes, Kata.
-

I didn't hear his name in commentary until about the 20 minute mark.

Agree Kata was terrific, as was Thompson.

Ayshford is yet another 'meh' type player that Cappy loves, never going to create something from nothing. I wonder who the Warriors could use for more impact in that centre position?....???? Hmmmmmmm
-

The winners of the wooden spoon? Newcastle Knights. Awful side.

-
Lara Pitt is hot. Suddenly the pre and post game show is worth watching

Have you managed to find a pic without the 3cm of make-up on her face to make your analysis?

Ah crap, we're going to get beaten to that as well?
-
This can't be the same Chad Townsend, he looks like a decent first grade half
-
This is a shit game. The Dragons are awful and the Sharks don't have to be much better to be dominating them
-

this game and the Storm are the last 2 legs of my low paying multi....

Melbourne humping the titans

Hazem El Mazri was cleared of assault charges, his ex wife opened up on the NRL .
Tigers have started well. I'm getting my hopes way up for this season. Way up.

First home game of the season and it is against the number one rival, Melbourne Storm. Matulino is going to challenge a shoulder charge ruling (wins he gets to play, lose he gets four weeks, do nothing he gets three weeks) and while Vatuvei and Ayshford are named to start, it appears that Konrad and Jonathan Wright will be playing on Sunday afternoon.
