In a game when the team won 47-12 it almost seems a bit churlish, but the Magpies played crap - as Dixon is noting in his captains speech.

Everyone was crap in this game, the Pies were crap, the Poo were crap after their early defence, and Bryiant was crapply random.

Magpies organisation in attack is very good. Even when the opposition get a bit of a roll on, once they get the ball back they are quick to realign and support players in motion.

Some good coaching they’ve got going on.

In the end, a big win for the good guys! Great game from Makene, who surely should get the start next week as well! Just drop Baker completely, please (he doesn't contribute anything positive)! Fakatava and McClutchie also impressive. Flanders and Parsons outstanding in the pack; good impact IWL.

I wouldn't mind at all if both Lowe and Fomai start next week, with Visinia taking place on the bench.

Sad (despite him being a prick) to see Jamie Booth going off with what looked like a serious injury. The Canes may have a problem ...

Terrible refereeing from Briant at times; when he disallowed Evans' try, he should just have given a penalty try. Fortunately, we scored soon after.

One piece of bling locked into the cupboard for another year; the Shield for two more weeks.

This is a great example of why I like those Hastings Boys' combos in our squad so much. Fakatava - McClutchie - Toala. That kick from McClutchie was perfect.

Dixon made a similar comment at the aftermatch as well.

Jamie Booth reportedly a broken leg.

So that means the Hurricanes number one and number two halfbacks will be unavailable next year?

@Number-10 That's bad news. I'm sorry for Booth and the Canes have a problem. Jonathan Taumateine suddenly getting a lot of game time? If only they had signed Fakatava.

You'd hope he's only out for 2 months.

Taumateine has been sneaky good for Counties. I think he's been one of the better halfbacks in the M10 this season.
