A sensible answer, rugby pass make common sense article as well as accurate dominant tackle stats!
Too much focus on quality, they'll be out of business soon.
Also, for the conspiracy theorists, NZR own a share of RugbyPass... so they would say that woulnd't they

@Machpants Fark, you made me read a Bidwell article.
I thought that one of the advantages of the Moana Pasifika bid was that they would be funding it, not NZR.
Yeah but the point being NZR says they haven't seen anywhere that the money is coming from. Lotsa 'oh you nasty NZR from famous people' not much business/backer people saying 'here's where the money and players are coming from'. You look at the ultimate example of Pasika player, Piutau, it's money (for family) first. Same with the international players mostly. yes they take a big hit to play for their country, but that is because they get decent cash from NH clubs.

They will chose the 2022 expansion teams at the end of the year right? Those franchises could start setting up their squads next year and maybe play the Development teams of the NZ franchise teams. Twiggy may set up his comp again if Covid allows also.
-
@ACT-Crusader a bit like Whitelock being far off his feet vs the Hurricanes in the semi final last year?

Thought this was funny tho
"Hammered from pillar to pillar, another pillar and finally the post. The semi-crazed antics of this board and administration have left the august organisation friendless, bobbing along hopelessly in a sea of hostility.
Here's a shortlist of people, countries and organisations that hate New Zealand Rugby at the moment: Australia, South Africa, Bill Beaumont, Bryan Williams, the Players' Association, Pacific Nations, Sanzaar, the Home Nations and Derek.
They still have a good friend at Sky but even they must be wondering if this game of alienating everyone is a sound long-term content strategy."
NZH paywall

@Machpants hell no - RA can't afford it's own teams let alone yours.
Neither can we, that's the point!

@Yeetyaah Good question! You'd think that most of the players have already been signed, but the exact number of spots in the squads may depend on the competition format/length. This may affect the signing of players for a few spots that possibly haven't been filled, yet. And that may mean a lot of insecurity for the players hoping to get those last spots, who may be tempted to sign elsewhere (Japan, MLR) if it takes too long as their livelihood is at stake.
Anyway, I don't think the squads will be named at the end of this month. I'd expect them to wait until the end of Mitre 10 Cup.

I sent all the Super teams a DM on Instagram asking when the Super squads would be named and the Highlanders replied and said all squads will be named in early December after the Mitre 10 Cup.
Good work @Yeetyaah
