@mariner4life it's like KC are playing on easy mode. Ridiculous, but fun
Their defence is good too

We might have the first head coaching change of the season very soon.
The New York Jets are abysmal - their QB Darnold is actually promising but the rest of their team is horrendous.
and yet they almost managed to get up over the equally bad Broncos. this was a classic Thursday night cripple fight, which went right down to the wire. Two 0-3 teams playing ... it was a massive hot mess.

@nzzp agreed - but at least Broncos have the excuse of not having their starting QB and having to travel cross-country.
No QB. No Von Miller. No starting running back. Broncos are hammered by injury.

@shark damn. It's a real concern for pro sport in general - TRC is just as at risk I fear
That's a big part of the reason I'm so resentful of so many All Blacks being pulled from the NPC, for so long.
NPC is the same risk - if one team gets it, it's all on. If you have to gamble, internationals are a better bet financially (but goddamn how good were the first few rounds)

In a massive shock Bill O'Brien is the first coach sacked
yes, that was hugely sarcastic. Texan fans have wanted him gone for ages. Trading Hopkins should have got everyone fired on the spot.

remarkably entertaining Thursday Night game (well, Friday afternoon).
Bears win 20-19 over the Bucs with Brady. Brady sacked three times.
Bears turn over ball and drop easy passes. Foles has a noodle arm. Gronk isn't what he was. And yet, the game was entertaining, I enjoyed it, and now I have had beers.
Life is good people,

KC lose to the Raiders?
Dak Prescott looks gone for the year
Texans get the dead cat bounce.
Things are getting ugly in SF
-
We were at least competitive against the Steelers today. Our defensive line still has massive issues.
-
@mariner4life SF are ravaged by injuries, and Jimmy G just got benched. If he can't turn it around SF will be back on the hunt for a QB. Maybe they should try to land Cam Newton if he chooses to leave NE at season's end
