Southland v North Harbour
-
@taniwharugby and then a turnover
-
@Steven-Harris was always his scrummaging he struggled with...
-
why?? kick it you dumb arse
-
@taniwharugby , and it’s come hope to bite Apoua ..but to be honest, what a shocking option from the fullback..should have kicked it
-
@Steven-Harris yep, you are up by a point, 5 mins to go, deep in your own territory, do you
a - kick it
b - kick it
c - run in
d - kick it -
ha, both those last 2 turnover calls were dodgy AF
-
wow, Southland take it 11-10
Probably pretty well deserving win with some real dogged defence in that final quarter
Ref had a pretty good game, but think he did get swayed in the final quarter and most of the calls went home town
-
Poor execution robs North Harbour. They should've won this at a canter.
-
Good on Southland , if Harbour were good enough, they should have put the Stags away..they were just as guilty of not stringing phases together ..The stags may not have the players or the polish of many of the other teams, but man have they something you can’t coach ..heart ..!
-
@Steven-Harris although that final t/o SOuthland got was on the back on 15+ phases and Lambourn leans on his players to steal it, then Sail looks to have all rights and gets pinged for the match winner...thats the way shit rolls sometimes!
-
@antipodean not robed, just not good enough ..failed to execute breaks when they had the opportunity..
-
@taniwharugby exactly , when you are down and out, no calls go your way
-
@Steven-Harris said in Southland v North Harbour:
@Duluth this a great endorsement to their coach Dale McLeod ..they are’nt world beaters , but boy they play with some heart
They look far more in sync with each other than the last few seasons.

ive always wondered this...and havent been able to find an answer, whats with the grandstand at rugby park? why so offset? i get it if they couldn't afford or just didn'r need one the full length...but why not around the half way line?
