NRL 2020

There was another poster from a while back that had the Warriors logo as their profile pic and was good value on the league threads. Can’t recall the posters name

Cows condemn the Broncos to their first spoon
To add injury to insult they lose arguably their best player (easily their best this year) to an ACL which mean most of next season as well
-
Darius Boyd says he wants to still be involved in the game when he stops playing, judging by which I thought he retired a few years ago.

Titans have finished the year with a wet sail. Good coach, talent coming in, watch them next year

It's 2020 covid times, I tune into roosters bunnies second half, and I blink twice, rub my eyes and marvel at the sight of Sonny Bill live on me telly.
12 months ago he was an all black at a world cup
Whatever you think of him is entirely inconsequential, by fuck this boy knows how to get paid work!

Think the Roosters may have tanked that game hoping that they avoid the Storm next week. Eels v Tigers could be interesting.
-
The roosters have owned the Storm in recent finals , would they really want to avoid them that much by throwing a game ?
But it was funny the media have been praising them in the build up saying they respect the game too much to rest players like Canberra and Melbourne have done , and then they dont turn up to play anyway

Adam Blair will retire after this last game against Manly.
Average Warrior. Average Bronco, Average Tiger with the ability to be good for long periods. Very good Storm.
Excellent Kiwi.
Also gave us the best fight of the modern era
Bet he was invaluable off the field this year

@ACT-Crusader Not goanna lie, I was grinning like a mad fluffybunny the whole time I watched that.
Rugby league is so much better the more brutal it is

I can remember going to watch league test matches as a kid , 70s
And the first scrum packed, you got the customary front row standing up throwing punches ,
Crowd used to love it

Broadhurst was a hard man , sounds like its taking its toll now ,
go to 1.26 , I was at that game ,Carlaw park, that was Craig Young he dropped ,at the time it was wow, he was the hard man front rower of Aussie league then , Broadhust was still playing local in NZ , was signed shortly after for Manly

What a performance for the boys. After 10 minutes we are down 0-10 and then pull off 15 minutes of brilliant league.
Tevita-Harris best game. Really took control and made things happen.
Watching the post game haka for Adam Blair, I was feeling proud of the team. Amazing how we’ve been able to hold it together given the circumstances. Every team has had challenges this season, but what the Warriors have done and the fact we were a couple of games from the finals, is pretty awesome.

Amazing that the Sharks make the 8 by conceding 480 pts, the same total points they scored, but more than the Titans, Warriors and Tigers.
The good news is that are should be just making up the numbers and they are the first team since someone (Bears?) in the 1990s to make the playoffs and not beat any of the teams above them on the table.
