Otago 2020

@Kiwiwomble yeah it's a little disappointing though. Josh in the form of his life. Liam is arguably better than Aumua, it's just because of Aumua's attack. Dickson would've been up there if he wasn't injured
-
so, let talk about Sio
if he's going to keep playing...and thats still up in the air as its two reds and a yellow this year i believe..i think he needs to get moved out to the wing
he doens't create enough in midfield, his only real move it a fend, so stick him out where a solid fend might be all you need to get some space
would also take away the a bit of temptation to cut off a move with one big hit
assuming he'll rightly get a ban this week, but even with Saturdays squads, sio out to 14, koroi to 15 and collins to the midfield would have improved things in my mind

@Kiwiwomble he worries too much about big hits instead of making a proper tackle, which is why he always aims up high and gets the head. The shield vs waikato where the player slipped, he still would've hit the player in the chest which is probably going to be too high soon

100% he's 24 with load of super and NPC games....harder and harder to accept something like this as work on

six matches...cant see him playing again this year, he's an old boy and i want to get behind him...but think its time for him to be let go, make him earn another professional contract
-
Jesus...well, who’s next in the midfield, no tolerance for this shit
-
-
just messaged Matt Faddes on insta saying there could be a couple of spots in the midfield for Otago going up for grabs
-
@African-Monkey Might be a bit awkward if they pair him up for a tackling drill with Sio Tompkinson
-
when i first saw it, I thought, he's come down to give Sio a piece of his mind for the shot on his brother Simon
-
Timu shining today moved out one, a little more space at 13 and Collins creating more closer to the action at 12, hope we stick to that combo even after sio comes back
-
so, Hickey did well at 10 last week, my question is...who was our backup before he was brought in? Koroi is a handy 10...but was he the only other option and so when he and Ioane got in trouble we had little other options, is only having two realistic options for a position a good idea? have i forgotten someone?
