Seahawks get up and win a great game against the Pats.

Cam Newton is great fun, and fantastic to watch. Played really well, can't wait to see what Belichek will do with him

And the Cowboys came from 20 pts down in the 1st Q and then 19 pts at HT to take their first lead of the game with a FG as time expired.

they play some absolutely humdingers. Luckily I was unspoiled after that, so could also watch the Ravens Texans, with two outstanding young QBs. NFL is back to being fun I think- one of the interceptions by the Ravens was absolutely pure athleticism and timing; just sensational to watch.

also, a player got ejected for head to head contact. Fantastic - it's that sort of brutal hit that has to be stamped out ... not much you can do about the repeated contact, but you can stop teh big stuff.

The injury toll has been brutal, but I agree the games have been heaps of fun. Saints vs Raiders should be good today.

But whoever is setting the schedule needs their head checked. Can't wait for Thursday night football, this week it's a blockbuster clash between... the Jags and the Dolphins. Blergh.

You've got that right - 49ers lost their best defensive player and another defensive lineman for the season to torn ACLs.

It will be interesting what comes out of the NFL investigating the field quality of that game in New York (49ers have to play there again this coming week). You have to wonder about some of these artificial turfs - it's not like it's a dome either it's an open air stadium - billion dollar franchises that can't sort out a field.

Chiefs look unstoppable in the AFC.

They play the Patriots and Bills in October so will be interesting if their of those teams can pose a threat.

    @KiwiMurph just watched Chiefs Ravens.

If Mahomes isn't in the league, Jackson would be getting legendary status. Unfortunately, he's up against a force of nature. The balls that Mahomes threw were unreal. Shovel pass to a fullback, a fat guy touchdown... he's just insane. What a player. So lucky to wind up with Andy Reid, too, who is one of the great offensive minds.

prior to that caught up on the Hawks Cowboys game. What a doozy, such great entertainment. Wilson is starting to get the respect he deserves, and his deep ball throwing is just amazing.

NFL is a lot of fun at the moment, with plenty of talent to watch. Hoping the positive Covid tests don't rain on the parade

Yeah I'm loving the games so far. Super psyched for TNF, can't wait to see the checks notes Jets against the Broncos. Arghhhh.

But other than that, the quality has been top notch. Mahomes and the Chiefs look unstoppable. They dismantled the Ravens D like they were the Dolphins. Hard to see where they lose, could be to a team like the Bills if Allen gets on a roll and they go blow-for-blow. Certainly you'll be hard pressed keeping them under 30.

@nzzp I watched 3 very entertaining games. Seahawks v Cowboys was insane because of the errors.

Packers v Saints was a QB shoot out

Then yesterday was impressive. If anything the scoreline flattered the Ravens, as the chiefs started taking the piss in the 3rd.

@mariner4life it's like KC are playing on easy mode. Ridiculous, but fun

Jackson is 0-2 in the playoffs and neither of those games were against the Chiefs. He needs to fix that pronto.

We might have the first head coaching change of the season very soon.

The New York Jets are abysmal - their QB Darnold is actually promising but the rest of their team is horrendous.

and yet they almost managed to get up over the equally bad Broncos. this was a classic Thursday night cripple fight, which went right down to the wire. Two 0-3 teams playing ... it was a massive hot mess.

@nzzp agreed - but at least Broncos have the excuse of not having their starting QB and having to travel cross-country.
