so games will have 'bubbles' of people in attendance.
Northland with 6 bubbles x 100, reckon that will be the lowest attendance I can remember, I do recall a game with sideways rain on a Thursday night where we wouldnt have had much more, maybe 1,000-1,500, was in the early years of Ta$man where we won 9-3, be smallest crowd I have seen previously.
-
An interesting fact:
After the first season of the competition split in 2011, there have been eight different Championship winners in eight years.

Yeah there's very little between the top of div2 and bottom of div1.
It's really easy to drop from div1 and teams that have dropped generally don't bounce straight back up
Despite 8 different winners I believe Northland, Southland & Otago have never been up
-
@Duluth I think Waikato is the only province to gain promotion the season after being relegated. Wellington and Taranaki failed to do that. It took Wellington 2 seasons and Taranaki didn't even make the SFs in their first season in the Championship last year.

Does anyone know if Kayo/ Foxtel are streaming Mitre 10?

They are under the usual contract - so they’ll miss the odd game here and there for no good reason.

Eek, although that shouldn't matter with Kayo.

Agreed - they shouldn't be constrained as it's a streaming service.

So I just checked Kayo - no upcoming NPC to show us, but the Fox guide has all the games, including the 2 on Sunday!

There’s 3 games on Sunday
2 matches are at the same time
Benefit of Kayo (if they're showing them) is I can watch them side by side.

I was meaning the two at the same as discussed above.
The other Sunday game is the Magpies, you'd know about it if they weren't playing that one.

@taniwharugby I was there a few years ago when Northland put about 50 up against them in a fantastic afternoon game.
Great times,I really enjoy Okara as a rugby venue
