Minimum effort put into that. Virtually of the top of my head so I'm sure I missed plenty there.

It's still an awesome team. Like Slammin' Sammy at 12. T Wright at fullback not so much.

One sentimental vote for Lindsay Harris as fullback from me. More seriously though, Cashmore would be hard to go past, but Mils should be considered, despite his abrupt departure. Piutau was very good in recent years.

Terry Wright and Matthew Ridge (underrated) bridged the gap between Harris and Cashmore?

Cashmore has the bonus of pissing off BOP fans by taking him away from their team

Honourable mention for Matt Carrington if any BOP fans are reading

Cashmore is bracketed with Greg Rowlands and Damon Kaui if you need a loan player 🙂

Not sure about that Carrington name, I vaguely remember talk of one being removed from the birth records in the Bay though...

Need to finalise a team. This one by @African-Monkey is close, just made a couple of changes

Dowd because McDowell is with BOP?
Mils over Wright? (Specialist plus a more recent player probably helps in voting)

    Any objections?

Cantabs v Auckland in the first round is a disaster for the broadcasters, but provides hope for all others.

Especially if the winner subsequently draws Otago

@Duluth nothing to really fear in the backline but the forwards are a bit tasty.

I would have Carlos over Fox personally. I think Foxy would too if he was being honest

I wouldn't, and I'm a huge Carlos fan, but as I think I said earlier Fox is a winning 10. To me this team is picked on how they were in the era they played. Carlos was one of two top 10s, Fox dominated the position for most of his career.
